You said yes to the dress – now let’s make it absolutely perfect for YOU.
I’m Myline, and I’ve been fitting brides for over 20 years right here in Greensboro. Here’s what I know for sure: even the most gorgeous gown doesn’t feel like “the one” until it fits your body like it was made just for you. That’s where I come in.
Whether you bought your dress from a boutique, online, or it’s been passed down through your family, I’m here to make sure you feel absolutely stunning when you walk down that aisle.
From your first fitting to your final walk-through, We are the only ones working on your gown. You’ll get to know my team, I’ll get to know your vision, and together we’ll make it perfect.
I’ve worked with every type of dress you can imagine – ball gowns with layers of tulle, sleek mermaids covered in beading, delicate lace vintage gowns, and everything in between. There’s truly nothing I haven’t seen or can’t handle.
Bought online and it needs major work? No problem. Lost weight and your dress is swimming on you? I’ve got you. Gained a little and need strategic letting out? I do that all the time. Intricate beading that makes other seamstresses nervous? That’s actually my favorite work.
This isn’t just a business transaction for me. I genuinely want you to feel beautiful and confident
on your wedding day. I’ll be honest with you about what will work, what won’t, and what will
make you look absolutely incredible.

The Essentials (What Almost Every Bride Needs)
This is the most common alteration – making sure your dress is the perfect length whether you’re wearing heels, flats, or going barefoot on the beach. I hem to the exact height you’ll be on your wedding day, so bring those shoes!
After the ceremony, you need to dance and move freely. I’ll add a bustle that’s secure, beautiful, and easy for someone to hook up. I’ll even teach your maid of honor how to do it during your final fitting
Bodies change – especially during the stress of wedding planning! I can take your dress in if you’ve lost weight or let it out if you’ve gained. I work with the original seams to maintain the dress’s integrity.

Too loose? Too tight? Want to add straps where there weren’t any? Want to remove them entirely? All of this is possible, and I’ll make sure it looks like the dress was designed that way.
Want to add a little modesty? Or show a little more? I can reshape necklines, add illusion panels, or create entirely new looks while keeping your dress’s original beauty.
Need more support? I can add boning, cups, or additional structuring so you feel secure and confident all day long. No adjusting your dress every five minutes!
This is where a lot of alterations go wrong with inexperienced seamstresses. I know how to work around (and with) intricate beading, delicate lace, and appliqués without damaging them.

We’ll talk about your vision, what you love about the dress, and what needs to change. I’ll pin everything, take detailed measurements, and we’ll discuss the timeline. This takes about 45-60 minutes, and you’ll leave knowing exactly what’s going to happen.

The major work is done, and now we’re fine-tuning. This is where the dress really starts to feel like YOURS. We’ll make sure everything sits exactly right, and I’ll make notes for any tiny adjustments.

This is the magic moment. Everything is perfect, you’re going to cry (happy tears!), and I’ll show your maid of honor how to bustle your dress. You’ll walk out feeling like a bride.
Try not to lose or gain more than 5-10 pounds after your final fitting. I know wedding planning is stressful, but dramatic changes in the last two weeks make it really hard to get that perfect fit.
I know you’re wondering about cost – everyone does! Here’s the honest truth: every dress is different, and I won’t know the exact price until I see your dress and what needs to be done.

Life happens. If you need your alterations done in 2-3 weeks instead of the usual 6-8, I can usually make it work. There’s an additional 25-30% rush fee, but I’ll be honest with you about whether your timeline is realistic.
You’re not alone! About 40% of my brides bought online. I can work with any dress from any retailer. Sometimes online dresses need more extensive work, but I’ve never met one I couldn’t make beautiful.
Oh, I LOVE these projects! Vintage dresses are so special. I can modernize them while keeping the sentimental elements, or restore them to their original glory. Either way, we’ll honor the history while making sure you feel like yourself.
This is actually my specialty. I’ve worked on dresses with thousands of hand-sewn beads and crystals. I know how to alter around them, move them when necessary, and make sure nothing gets damaged. Your dress is safe with me.
I fit ALL brides, and I’ve worked with every body type imaginable. I know how to create a fit that’s flattering, comfortable, and makes you feel gorgeous. No judgment here – just expertise and genuine care.
Let’s talk about it! Sometimes we can remove sleeves, add a belt, change the back, or make other style modifications along with alterations. I’ll tell you what’s possible and what I’d recommend.
Ideally, 8-10 weeks before your wedding. This gives us plenty of time for multiple fittings without feeling rushed. That said, I’ve done alterations in 10 days for emergency situations – just call me and we’ll figure it out.
Small changes (5-10 pounds) can usually be adjusted at your final fitting. Bigger changes might need an extra fitting, but we’ll make it work. Just keep me posted if your body is changing!
Yes! In addition to bridal and formal gowns, Myline’s Bridal provides expert suit and tuxedo alterations for men. Whether you need adjustments to sleeves, pants, or fit overall, our seamstresses will make sure everything looks sharp for weddings or special events.
Yes, absolutely. Sometimes I’m fixing another seamstress’s work, and sometimes we’re just doing additional changes. Either way, I can help.
Call me immediately! I’ve done emergency repairs the day before weddings. I always make sure my brides have my direct number for true emergencies.
No! I also alter bridesmaid dresses, mother-of-the-bride gowns, prom dresses, and any other formal wear. If you’re part of a bridal party, I can handle everyone’s alterations.
